About the Role

  • Manage internal stakeholders and external third party agencies to plan and execute marketing activity.

About the role

  • Managing a remote production team off shore and reporting to the Online Production Manager, you’ll make sure quality standards are being upheld.
  • You’ll need to work with your team to do what is needed to ensure we have the right products going live at the right time looking the best they possibly can.
  • It’s not all monitoring and communicating though. There’s a fair bit of reporting too. You’ll be expected to keep the Online Production Manager up to speed on production status – and you’ll lend them a hand when it comes to quality testing and error fixing.
  • There’ll be a bit of globe-trotting involved as well. In helping set up and support remote testing teams, you’ll have the chance to pop overseas as and when required.

About you

  • If the thought of a looming deadline brings you out in a cold sweat, this isn’t the role for you.
  • If you can’t handle multiple things at the same time then again this is not for you. Instead, we’re after budding leaders who excel under pressure – and who can inspire the same from their team.

Working within the Online QA team, you’ll be responsible for a solid team of remote testers - managing their tasks and workload. As well as making sure daily test plans are being implemented, you’ll also be required to flag up issues to relevant departments and oversee important new launches and developments online. In addition, you will feed into the weekly release sign-off process.

About the Role

  • Devise testing plans based on requirements including regression test plans where required.
  • Manage progress against these plans, escalating resource or prioritisation conflicts where appropriate.
  • Record test results and outputs in a concise manner so that issues found can be escalated appropriately.

  • Support the analytics needs of Next Directory by using clickstream tools such as Google Analytics and Tealeaf to analyse web traffic through its family of websites including next.co.uk and key International sites.

  • User Experience – You’ll need a good understanding of user experience and how A/B tests will enhance or impact this.
  • Personalisation – Suggest and create multivariate and A/B tests using HTML and CSS.

About you
