You will be responsible for updating and maintaining our family of International websites on a regular basis across multiple platforms and countries. You will ensure the updates are of high standard and continue to exceed customer and business expectations. You will also play a pivotal role in delivering our many projects and new initiatives to drive growth and improve the customer experience.

About the Team

The International Content team is responsible for updating and deploying updates and changes across 70 + country websites and getting through the vast amount of requests is a challenge in itself. Working in a team of CMS wizards you will be required to take the new requirements from across the business and turn them into reality.

About the Role

You will be involved in:

Website Updates
From building new homepages to updating menus, these regular updates are your bread and butter and will provide you with the perfect opportunity to showcase your planning and organisational skills.

Projects
We are always looking for new ways to reach out to our customers and provide them with the best shopping experience possible. There are a lot of interesting and exciting projects currently on the plan and your skills and expertise will help deliver them. Projects currently in the pipeline include International mobile sites, new country launches and migration to a new platform to name but a few.

Seasonal Activities
This is where we completely refresh our websites every few months in order to ensure they are in tip top shape for the launch of our latest collections and your job will be to make each one better than the last.

In addition you will be part of the team responsible for building our famous sale websites…. from helping to build fancy landing pages to ensuring that the right items are on the right site at the right price.

Team Work and Attitude
Working in a team of content editors where tasks involve multiple stakeholders and bridge multiple disciplines you will need to be a strong communicator with a real team ethic. You will also be a fast learner who is motivated and professional and has the ability to work under pressure.

About you:

  • Proven experience of updating online content using a CMS, HTML and XML
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel to collate, manipulate and analyse product data
  • Good technical understanding as well as a logical thinker with commercial acumen
  • A genuine interest in retail, product, ecommerce and online marketing
  • Willing and able to work callout shifts every once in while
  • Project management experience would be highly beneficial

As Reporting Dashboard Analyst, you will be in charge of producing a series of actionable customer insights using customer and prospect data, and promote their use in the business to increase revenue, reduce cost, improve ROI, and/or improve the customer experience.

About the Role

  • Work with the relevant Directory departments (Marketing, Commercial, Content) to deliver appropriate and to-the-point dashboards which:
    • Provide clear insight into the departments performance against its goals (increase sales, conversion rate, abandon rates)
    • Provides additional insight to show how performance could be improved
    • Easy to use – from both a technical and non-technical perspective
    • Are regularly reviewed with the stakeholders to ensure that they are used and useful
  • Build and maintain dashboards for Directors showing key performance against business goals
  • Surprise and delight customers through continuous innovation of our dashboards

 About you

  • Ability to query and select data using multiple applications the business uses, and learn new applications/tools
  • Proficient in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Fusion SAS visualisation
  • Highly skilled in both SQL and Excel and ideally, SAS
  • Ability to communicate often complex data and insights in simple language to individuals and groups of people, and hone in on key findings, and clearly and succinctly answer the “so what?” question.
  • Can suggest the way forward to implement insights profitably, and will support with knowledge, supplementary analysis, and measurement during the end-to-end implementation phase.

You’ll help to ensure the Next family of websites are consistently exceeding all business and customer expectations for outstanding user experience.

Responsible for analysing, scoping and documenting your work as well as planning and managing weekly and seasonal changes to the Next websites.

Analyse, benchmark and propose commercially minded solutions for a more effect Ecommerce experience across large and complex areas of the business.

Applying your analytical and technical knowledge, you’ll manage multiple challenging tasks within a fast paced retail environment, continually using your sharp eye for detail to identify a project’s issues and risks.

About you:

With experience in a similar role, preferably within retail, you’ll be entirely comfortable with understanding technical requirements and converting them into to clear and precise specifications.

You’ll be proficient in analytical tools and have impressive experience of both managing project change requests and producing detailed functional specifications.

Working in a fast paced, collaborative culture, the UX researcher plays a key role to inform and inspire the user experiences we create, ensuring they are useful, usable and valuable for customers. Providing key insight into our competitors, to enable the wider User experience team to deliver best-in-class user experience solutions across all brands web and mobile.

About the Role

UX Research

  • Propose, plan, facilitate, moderate and analyse results from user research, focus groups, usability testing and competitor and market research.
  • Communicate research findings and recommendations across UX and product teams to drive informed design decisions and functionality enhancements.

Usability Testing

  • Conduct face-to-face and remote usability testing.
  • Manage user research participant recruit and/ or be the point of contact with internal and external recruiting.
  • Identify opportunities and propose most suitable research methods.
  • Carry-out/facilitate research, distil and interpret findings and communicate back actionable insights.

Teamwork

  • Work closely with designers and Architects on recommendations to improve the UX.
  • Work closely with product owners and operational owners across all product teams and with other areas within Next.
  • Be an UX evangelist and help educate and guide strategic user experience initiatives that continuously promote a user-centred design approach.
  • Inform and influence the broader product development teams to implement solutions that are best for the user in the context of overall business drivers, goals and vision.

Customer Centric

  • Conducting lab-based user testing, remote testing and paper prototype testing.
  • Participate in user profile definition, ethnography, persona and user case development

About you

  • Highly skilled in analysing, interpreting and shaping UX research findings in to meaningful and clear actionable insights at pace.
  • Excellent communicator, both oral and written, with proven ability to influence broadly.
  • Confidence in bringing UX insights and recommendations to life in a clear and concise and compelling way at pace.
  • Ability to link customer insight with business opportunities.
  • Proven experience in understanding digital analytics data.
  • Proven capability in all phases of Usability Testing.

What you’ll be doing: -

  • Stay ahead of fashion and editorial trends, best practices and branding initiatives
  • Work with others on the Creative & Commercial teams to plan the Editorial calendar on a seasonal basis
  • Manage the conception, research, production and editing of copy for fashion stories across one of our 4 divisions (Mens, Womens, Kids & Home), specifically trend stories, how-to-wear stories, designer interviews and text accompanying fashion shoots
  • You’ll have the opportunity to travel abroad with our Buyers and Designers to seek inspiration from Catwalk and trade shows!
  • Work with the Creative lead to source imagery for the above stories
  • Generate ideas for editorial features and interviews collaborating closely with the Commercial and product teams
  • Collaborate with cross­ functional teams to ideate and produce cohesive, integrated written content for advertising campaigns tailored to the Next brand DNA and KPIs
  • Ensure on­site content is optimized for search and social sharing

 About you: -

  • You’ll have at least 3 years proven experience within offline or online fashion publishing and creating ecommerce editorials
  • Well-versed in fashion - lifestyle trends and brands, including home décor, travel and food
  • Strong grammar, research, and copyediting skills as well as a strong passion for storytelling and brainstorming
  • Comprehensive knowledge of online editorial best practices, including an understanding of SEO
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines and work autonomously providing self-direction
  • Solutions focused approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure
