Marketing Campaign Analyst

This role is for someone who shares our vision and who has the enthusiasm and drive to help us move things forward.

The Next websites are pretty good (at least we think so) but we’re always striving to make them even better. You will be responsible for using a targeted approachto select customers and prospects to receive specific marketing communications. You will produce timely ROI measurement of campaigns and promote their use in planning future campaigns in the current and next season.

About the Role

  • Manage internal stakeholders and external third party agencies to plan and execute marketing activity.
  • Undertake targeted selections for cold data and existing customers analysing previous campaigns to ensure we obtain the best results, while running adequate checks to guarantee the accuracy of the selection.
  • Manage resource in our offshore team in order to produce weekly campaign performance reports, and monitor campaigns to ensure activity is optimised and running adequate checks to guarantee the accuracy of the reports.
  • Manage 3rd party relationships with data providers and international research teams.
  • Ensure our processes are as efficient as possible through continuous reviews and up-skill / delegate to our offshore team in order to remove administration / low-value actions as much as possible.
  • Liaise with finance to ensure that campaigns achieve are profit targets.
  • Monitor new customer activity over their lifetime to ascertain what our ROI is

Can you help us to effectively drive online sales across the world in a way that champions the Next brand and drives real commercial success? Then you might be just who we’re looking for.

So what will you actually be doing?

Working alongside the Head of Content & Creative you’ll be responsible for high level commercial direction for the next websites, in all territories. Continually looking for an online approach that rivals competitors and drives sales at a fast pace. With exceptional commercial understanding you’ll help to identify and suggest ways to merchandise our sites, with the best knowledge of product, systems and analytic tools possible.

Working with our senior management team to quickly gain a strong understanding of our brand, you’ll use your knowledge of online analytical tools, navigation and retail background to drive our commercial teams to improve ways of working, communication and overall sales for Next.

A dynamic and organised person you’ll be able to manage a large team, deliver to directors and identify new opportunities and initiatives that will drive sales and improve our ways of working.

Who’s right for the job?
Highly analytical and comfortable with large volumes of data and sales figures, you’ll be able to identify, implement and drive commercial improvements to Next through your insights.

Vast experience in online merchandising and a retail background you will have an expert knowledge in google analytics and key merchandising software and how to drive sales using it across multiple platforms, including mobile devices.

An exceptional communicator, you’ll work closely alongside other manager and directors as well as clearly and persuasively sharing your findings and recommendations with key business stakeholders. You’ll also use your keen eye for good commercial design to implement the most effective approach to commercially run our websites.

Organised, thorough and excited by a challenge you’ll work well in a busy and fast moving online environment, managing your team to not only delegate but ensure important projects are completed to demanding timescales.

 About the Role

  • Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of department and the organisation as a whole in relation to a specific project/task.
  • Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate the service/function/product in question.
  • Analyse your findings and document the requirements. These requirements will then be used by Ecommerce to deliver this development/system update.
  • Consider the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions you have made.
  • Produce written documentation to support your work including user stories and process workflows. Present to stakeholders when necessary.

Eagle-eyed and efficient, our Online Production Co-ordinators are the digital dynamos that keep our websites running smoothly and looking great.

About the role

  • Managing a remote production team off shore and reporting to the Online Production Manager, you’ll make sure quality standards are being upheld.
  • You’ll need to work with your team to do what is needed to ensure we have the right products going live at the right time looking the best they possibly can.
  • It’s not all monitoring and communicating though. There’s a fair bit of reporting too. You’ll be expected to keep the Online Production Manager up to speed on production status – and you’ll lend them a hand when it comes to quality testing and error fixing.
  • There’ll be a bit of globe-trotting involved as well. In helping set up and support remote testing teams, you’ll have the chance to pop overseas as and when required.

About you

  • If the thought of a looming deadline brings you out in a cold sweat, this isn’t the role for you.
  • If you can’t handle multiple things at the same time then again this is not for you. Instead, we’re after budding leaders who excel under pressure – and who can inspire the same from their team.
  • A big, bright eye for detail is absolutely vital, as is the ability to navigate multiple work streams simultaneously, without capsizing.
  • Finally, previous experience working with a content management system would go down very nicely indeed, as would a past stint in a retail e-commerce company. That said, for this role, the right temperament is just as important as anything written on a CV.

What will you actually be doing?

Working in our fast and exciting Directory Business, you’ll support with the design of innovative concepts for a wide range of digital projects and initiatives. Helping to represent and enhance the next brand through exceptional design, you’ll be responsible for creating and delivering an effective look, feel and experience across a range of desktop and mobile websites (and apps).

In a highly varied role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include creative problem solving and interface design with a user-centred approach. Through your design expertise and strong customer understanding, you’ll help us continuously deliver the highest standards of service across all our platforms. You’ll also manage multiple planned and unplanned projects in a fast-paced technical environment.

So, who’s right for the role?

With experience as a UI designer, and a degree or equivalent experience in a web or graphic design field, you’ll have a portfolio filled with outstanding design work and ideas. You’ll also have strong experience of working with mobile, tablet, and desktop - all with a focus on user experience.

You’ll have strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills as well as advanced knowledge of wire framing tools such as Axure and Balsamiq. Working in a fast paced, collaborative culture, the UX researcher plays a key role to inform and inspire the user experiences we create, ensuring they are useful, usable and valuable for customers. Providing key insight into our competitors, to enable the wider User experience team to deliver best-in-class user experience solutions across all brands web and mobile.

About the Role

UX Research

  • Propose, plan, facilitate, moderate and analyse results from user research, focus groups, usability testing and competitor and market research.
  • Communicate research findings and recommendations across UX and product teams to drive informed design decisions and functionality enhancements.

Usability Testing

  • Conduct face-to-face and remote usability testing.
  • Manage user research participant recruit and/ or be the point of contact with internal and external recruiting.
  • Identify opportunities and propose most suitable research methods.
  • Carry-out/facilitate research, distil and interpret findings and communicate back actionable insights.

Teamwork

  • Work closely with designers and Architects on recommendations to improve the UX.

About you
